A Simple Exercise for Better Posture

In today’s world, people often spend countless hours behind computers, driving, or checking their phones. These activities frequently result in a sustained forward head posture, increasing tension and joint strain in the neck. It typically leads to the vertebral discs overloading in the lower neck and muscle cramping at the base of the skull. Some studies even suggests that over time, this position may even reduce blood flow to the head and brain.
Incorporating this simple exercise into your routine can improve circulation, breathing, and joint health.

Description
– Gently slide your head back and up as if making a double chin, aligning your ears directly over your shoulders.
– Repeat this movement several times to strengthen your upper neck muscles and build postural awareness.

Over time, this will help make it your default posture. You can also move your chin slightly to the right or left to target different areas of your neck. This is an excellent exercise to practice while sitting at the computer or driving.
