Do you get numbness and tingling in your fingers?

Did you know that numbness and tingling in your fingers could come from nerve compression, most commonly in your neck or wrist? The condition where the nerve is compressed in your wrist is called carpel tunnel syndrome. Carpel tunnel syndrome is a condition where the fascia at the front of the wrist tightens to the point of restricting the blood and nerve supply to the hand (especially the thumb, index finger and long finger). If addressed early the fascia can be loosened with frequent stretching, using this exercise.

Description

Kneel down on the floor then with your palms facing away from you put your finger tips on the floor and push the finger tips in to the ground while flexing your elbow. The palm is never supposed to ever actually touch the ground in this exercise. To increase the stretch, bend your elbow further and press the lower arms in towards the knees.

Dosage

Work your way up to 60 sec and repeat at least 3 times per day for best result.
