Improve your upper abdominal strength

Core stability is vital for posture, balance, and body mechanics. A strong core supports the spine and prevents injury. Additionally, core stability exercises improve movement efficiency in other parts of the body, leading to improved athletic performance.

Ceiling reaching crunches are more challenging and effective than traditional crunches, targeting the upper abs.

To perform the exercise, lie on your back with your feet on the ground, your back flat against the floor/mat, and both arms reaching up towards the ceiling.

Reach your arms straight up towards the ceiling by lifting your shoulders and upper back off the ground.

Return to the starting position in a controlled manner and repeat.
